Make plans to join a fun and entertaining day on Saturday, September 12, 2020 for this year’s Biking for the Beacon.
What is Biking for the Beacon? It is a fund raiser to help support the Beacon of Hope (men’s homeless shelter in Fort Dodge). The ride is organized and operated by Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. All proceeds go directly to the Beacon of Hope.
The event includes an adventure bicycle ride (each check in will have challenge associated with it). The route for the ride utilizes Fort Dodge’s trail system and the stops are at popular local landmarks. Following the ride there will be a cook out, prizes and live music by Kris Karr (talented and popular local musician and singer).
